To counter this, several institutions in Kerala launched the #BookBucketChallenge – The Festival of Knowledge, promoting book donation, weekly reading, and library strengthening. Reading physical books improves focus, comprehension, mental health, and builds 4C skills: Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity. I humbly request that #BookBucketChallenge be promoted nationally and that all educational institutions set up dedicated reading rooms accessible to the public, preserve hardcopy books for future generations, and donate extra books to village libraries.
