INVESTIGATIONS AND JUSTICE It is a good sign that under PM, shri Modiji, the police has been given a free hand to go all out for taking action against crime doers. I feel that the investigation teams are getting over busy in conducting the investigations. In the process, the investigations are taking unduly long time. For this, why not start recruiting sufficient number of competent persons so that the investigations are completed on time. Similarly the country would need a lot of competent persons in legal fraternity so that the matters are disposed of in reasonable time. Lakhs of court cases are pending at various level. Why not provide training and recruit persons to work for judiciary and clear the backlog. The court holidays too should be reviewed and strict rules should be followed for adjourning the hearings. Accountability is required. Judgements should not be reserved as a matter of routine. We have to keep in mind that justice delayed is justice denied. Thanks

COURT HEARINGS Very often we come across news that culprits were being brought to the court for hearing, but on the way they escaped. To avoid such happenings, why the hearings are not held through video conferencing to avoid such happenings and save lot of money otherwise spent on security, transport etc. If video conferencing is not easy, then why not establish a court room in the jails itself to overcome these happenings. It will save time and money. Can the concerned departments consider these options. Thanks
