Dear Sir/Madam, The widespread use of water bottles by the public has led to environmental concerns, with numerous companies selling packaged drinking water. Unfortunately, the lack of proper disposal systems has resulted in bottles being irresponsibly discarded, creating garbage in public places and detracting from the overall ambiance, especially during functions. In the earlier years, before the 1980s, people typically carried metal water containers during their journeys or outings. Instead of granting licenses or permissions for packaged drinking water, one potential solution could involve encouraging these companies to maintain large containers of mineral water every 10 kilometers or within each locality. This approach would help reduce plastic usage and ensure environmental safety. Alternatively, implementing a bottle return system, where used bottles are returned for the same price, could also be effective in curbing littering habits.
