Hon Prime Minister, Today 25th December, the day observed as Good Governence Day (remembering Former Primi Minister Sh Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji), I wish to suggest two thing to make the day meaningful and really resonate with your vision and with people and citizens. Infact that is the point, that there is no "citizens" in the Good Governence Day or the Good Governence Index (which, by the way, has not been published for the last two editions (2023/2025). They are just supply side numbers based on secondary source data collected from states and institutions. This data has no internal or external triangulation or field audits or citizen surveys! Therefore I urge you and my suggestion is that the definition of good governence need to change and expanded to include wider and deeper components of citzens voices and choices, pain and challenges (just calling it citizen-centric is just a disguise), (2) Citizens surveys should be conducted and given weightage in the Good Governance index.

My humble suggestions are as under: 1) Installation of rooftop solar panels and rainwater harvesting structures in all the buildings belonging to the Union government can be made mandatory. 2) All the centrally sponsored schemes and programmes need to be completed within the specified timelines. This will prevent cost over runs . 3) Manufacture of Electric vehicles can be promoted with a greater focus. The union government can undertake the process of setting up Charging Stations at important locations which will greatly benefit the users of such vehicles. 4) Solar powered aerators can be installed in the water bodies which will improve the water quality. 5) Senior citizens can be given concession in the fares for travel by trains. ,6).The menace of drug use and trafficking by unlawful elements need to be eliminated on a war footing. This holds good in respect of food adulteration, hoarding, profiteering, tax evasion, cyber frauds , fake companies etc

This is a unique festival in Tamil Nadu and duly merits such a recognition. 2) Deaths of majestic elephants due to hits by trains continue to occur in the country Kindly advise the Ministry concerned to take effective steps to prevent such deaths. 3) Inter linking of major rivers across the country can be given priority, considering its multiple benefits 4) Congratulations for enacting a poor people centric VB - G RMG Act, 2025 which will have the potential to transform the rural landscape and also improving the economic empowerment of the beneficiaries who are poor and belong to the weaker sections of society. 5) Climate Mitigation. : Involvement of women to create awareness in the society can be prioritized. Creation of new water bodies and planting of trees can also be taken up on a massive scale.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी, नमस्कार वन्देमातरम् ! महोदय जी, मन की बात कार्यक्रम में सड़क सुरक्षा विषय में चर्चा करने हेतु अनुरोध करना चाहूंगा कि हर दिन सड़क पर होने वाली दुर्घटनाओं से निर्दोष लोगों के जीवन की क्षति तो होती ही है साथ ही अनेक लोग इससे प्रभावित भी होते है । इसका कारण मात्र यह है कि यातायात नियमों की पालना नही होती है । (जैसे नशा करके वाहन चलाना, बहुत तेजी से वाहन चलना, हेलमेट नहीं पहनना या सीट बेल्ट नहीं लगाना आदि सहित अन्य कारण) इस विषय को लेकर देश भर में व्यापक चर्चा हों साथ ही साथ रेडियों टीवी समाचार पत्रों में सप्ताहिक कार्यक्रम या आलेख हो । हर महीने शिक्षण संस्थाओं में सड़क सुरक्षा दिवस/सप्ताह आयोजित किए जाए जिससे लोगों में जागरूकता को बढ़ाया जा सकेगा और सड़क हादसों में कमी हो सकेगी . आशा करता हूं कि आप इस सुझाव से सहमत होंगे और यातायात नियमों का पालन करने जैसे विषय पर मन की बात कार्यक्रम में चर्चा कर अनुग्रहित करेंगे. धन्यवाद, आपका अभिषेक पारीक गाँव पीपरोली तहसील टांटोटी जिला अजमेर राजस्थान 305601

A dedicated monitoring team may be deployed in the Union Ministry concerned to keep track of the progress of the criminal cases and ensure expeditious and successful prosecution. 2) It is sad that hundreds of people of all ages are killed every year due to road accidents. Apart from creating adequate sware relating to road safety, it is equally imperative to undertake a comprehensive study of the condition of roads in the Highways. Installation of signages and improving lighting at accident prone places may also be accorded top priority. Those killed and injured are mostly youngsters. 3) Kindly explore the feasibility of deploying media personnel in all the long distance trains to provide prompt medical attention to the needy passengers 4) Transpersons can be given one percent reservation in education and jobs.
