India has huge population, and every human being needs water for consumption. According to some standards an individual needs around 4 liters of water for drinking purpose and some surveys also shows that in case of hygiene and cleaning, by an average every individual person consumes around 40 lit of water so if considered our population is of 140 cr. and every person needs 40 lit. of water that means we are consuming 5600 cr. lit. of water per day. well, we cannot stop this water consumption, but we can try to reduce it by changing the some of our habits and cleaning solutions. Very importantly we can save the water just by creating awareness amongst people and promoting cleaning solutions which can reduce water consumption. We can also promote zero waste manufacturing industries. there are several other methods which can help us in to further saving of water, we must be alert as we are on Rank 13th of WATER SCARACITY. Every Indian should save a drop of water every time they use it.

A large number of senior citizens particularly those who have retired from various organisations , public sector, Govt or private sector and are leading a retired life can be involved in Govt programmes for nation building activities if proper forum is provided to them. Pensioners amongst them with substantially large number would be volunteering to provide honorary services without expecting any remuneration from the Govt. A fairly large number would volunteer themselves if only their out of pocket expenses on commutation etc are reimbursement. With decades of experience in their respective fields, they can make significant contribution in nation building activitiels. I EARNESTLY APPEAL HON'BLE PRIME MINISTER TO PLEASE SERIOUSLY CONSIDER THIS SUGGESTION. I am myself 72 a Retired banker, a former Asstt General Manager of a public sector bank and willing to provide honorary services in any manner considered fit and appropriate. Thanks

आदरणीय मोदी जी , नमस्कार, मन की बात में पशु-पक्षी के लिए दाना पानी रखने का आव्हान करने के लिए निवेदन। नागरिकों तक सीधी बात पहुंचाने का बहुत अच्छा माध्यम है "मन की बात"। छोटा सा सुझाव है, , गर्मियों में अपनी छतों पर, सरकारी कार्यालयों पर और जंगल में दाना पानी रखने का आव्हान आपके द्वारा "मन की बात" में करने से करोड़ों व्यक्तियों तक पहुंच जाएगी, जिससे व्यक्तियों के द्वारा  लाखों पशु पक्षियों को दाना- पानी उपलब्ध हो सकता है। अतः आप अपने महत्वपूर्ण संदेश में इस विषय को भी रखने का प्रयास करें। मैं लगभग 20 वर्षों से अपनी छत पर और कुछ वर्षों से आसपास के जंगल में दाने- पानी की व्यवस्था करता हूं। यह चित्र, वीडियो मेरे घर के, मेरे द्वारा आसपास के जंगल में की गई दाने-पानी की व्यवस्था के हैं। आभारी। हरपाल सिंह राणा, गांव कादीपुर, दिल्ली -110036, नंबर 91362 35051
