With the onset of mansoon in the country, we have to utilise the excess rains to solve our underground water depletion.Through out the country underground water levels have fallen to alarming levels.We have to start planning artificial recharging of this excess water by utilising bore wells by pumping in water instead of pumping out water. This will reduce the potential of floods, reduce water logging of cities due to short down pours, preserve water instead of flowing in to oceans, reduce accumulation of water at dams increasing danger of floods in down streams, Where catchment areas of ponds and lakes have diminished due to urbanisation, we can utilise fire brigade pumps to pump in water in to these water bodies drawing out water immediately as it rains. All This cannot be done at state level as they have different local priorities. Centre should take this as a national campaign extending support where ever required just like its campaign on health and sanitation.

Contract workers and women workers are not paid equally. As it is on contract basis, the wages are less than half of what permanent employees get.The modern face of slavery is the employment of contract workers. Govt and private companies are increasingly hiring low-wage workers.Companies are stopping hiring permanent employees.The price is going up. Corporations drive the economy of workers backwards. Workers are becoming powerless to buy wares in the market. Due to low wages and denial of basic rights, today's youth see contract labor as a form of slavery.Migrant workers make a living as contract workers for less than half the wagesAt least 80% of the gross wages earned by the permanent employees should be paid to the contract employees as gross wages.Labor welfare department should be removed from concurrent list and labor welfare department should be brought to union list. State governments are powerless to provide fair wages and justice to workers.

महोदय जब आप द्वारा आवारा जानवरों से किसानों को मुक्त करने की बात की गयी है तब तब जानवरों की संख्या में भारी इजाफा हुआ है जिले के अधिकारी दौरा तक नहीं करते सिर्फ एक दो जगह जायेगे और सरकार को सेल्फी भेज देंगे कि हमने सभी गौशालाओं का निरीक्षण कर लिया अब कोई भी जानवर छुट्टा नहीं रहेगा बल्कि गौशालाओं वाले रुपये देकर जानवरों की इंट्री करते है और बाद में रात के समय छोड़ देते है गौशालाओं का रुपये खुद के खर्चे में लगाते है गौवश भूखे प्यासे मर रहे है इस तरह देश को कैसे हिन्दू बना पायेगे जहां किसानों के साथ अत्याचार हो रहा है।

महोदय देश का किसान आज भी परेशान है किसानों की शुध आज भी कोई लेने वाला नहीं दिख रहा है जिलाधिकारियों द्वारा आसवस्त किया गया था कि मार्च तक सभी छुट्टा जानवरों को पूरी तरह पकड़ कर सरकारी गौशालाओं में पहुँचा दिया जाएगा लेकिन अभी भी किसी भी जिले में कोई प्रतिक्रिया नहीं दिख रही है यह बहुत ही शर्म की बात है किसानो द्वारा लगातार परेशान होने की बात कहने पर भी कोई सुनवाई नहीं हो रही सिर्फ कागजों में घोड़ा लगातार दौड़ रहा है हकीकत में कुछ भी नहीं है यह कब तक जारी रहेगा क्या सम्बंधित अधिकारी किसानों के मरने के आत्म हत्या करने के इंतजार में है।

I also wanted to discuss a few aspects of eye health policy to make the rural eye care model sustainable. Moreover, if individual Optometrists start community practice, blindness due to refractive errors can be detected early and actions can be taken early, but the sustainability of individual practice in the community sector is a big challenge. A clear vision can help in many areas like education and lifestyle and GDP of the country. I am a doctoral research scholar working on this.
