One such idea is: Promoting local/cultural/traditional/saatvik food. Our country has thousands of culinary delicacies from various parts of country with each has unique ingredients, methods of preparing and cooking. The traditional method of preparation of such foods is the USP and makes its unique. The Ministry of tourism has identified a few niche tourism sectors/themes, however, traditional food tourism is missing from the list. If we identify, strategize, promote and market traditional foods of various regions of India, that will boost tourism as well as provide job/business opportunities to the local people. I have detailed out this whole ideation, however, need support of the government and like-minded entrepreneurs.
