We are writing to draw your attention to one of the most pressing concerns in the insurance sector today mis-selling of health insurance policies. This unethical practice has become alarmingly common, where certain companies or agents misrepresent terms, hide exclusions, or push unsuitable products merely to boost their revenue models. Such unfair practices not only erode trust in the insurance ecosystem but also leave vulnerable citizens without the social and medical security they were promised. The impact is particularly devastating for senior citizens, whose livelihoods and health depend heavily on reliable coverage. When claims are denied or policies are found inadequate due to mis-selling, it shatters their financial stability and dignity. Why Stricter Punishment Needed: - Deterrence: Strong penalties will discourage insurers and agents from engaging in mis-selling. - Consumer Protection , especially the elderly, are safeguarded against exploitation
