The following points may kindly be considered for the upcoming Union Budget 2025-26: (a) Implementation of the 8th CPC to counter against the stagnant pay structure currently prevalent in Govt. Sector. (b) Taxes may be reduced.. We, being salaried class, bear taxes upon our income and also on products/insurance, which we purchase. This practice of dual taxation should be curtailed. (c) Restoration of OPS to Govt. Servants... Eyewashes like NPS/UPS should be done away with, and if not, then Ministers/MPs/MLAs should also be brought under the purview of NPS/UPS.. (d) LTC should be extended to SAARC countries

Privatization of Central Public Sector Undertakings & Nationalized Banks. Central Public Sector Undertakings are not creating enough jobs. There is no profit and lack of services. Privatization is the best solution to achieve the government's goals regarding employment. The government should take a bold decision in this regard. Apart from defense, research and other institutions under the direct control of central ministries, they should be privatized . A new generation of public sector research and development institutions should be given full attention. Care should be taken to establish industrial parks.Providing vocational training, establishing industrial parks and providing facilities to start businesses will also generate revenue for the government as new businesses grow. International standard railway freight stations should be established with private participation. Meeting rooms for traders, security for goods and basic facilities for workers should be provided.

In introduction of Plastic Packaging Tax like European Union(EU) Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT): The UK introduced a plastic packaging tax in April 2022, targeting plastic packaging with less than 30% recycled content. Companies that produce or import plastic packaging have to pay a tax on packaging that does not meet this threshold, with the goal of encouraging the use of recycled materials.
