Continue after 8 suggestions:- 9. Rationalize revenue expenditures. 10. Instead of divesting profit making PSUs, invest in it to make it more competitive. Thanks, I hope some of my suggestions (if not all) will definitely be incorporated in the upcoming union budget. Best of luck for 2020-21 budget.

#1Change income tax slabs for individual tax payers. Up to 5 lakh nil. 5 lakh to 10 lakh 10%. 10 lakh to 20 lakh 20% 20 lakh to 30 lakh 30%. Above 30 lakh (35 to 38) %. #3 simplify the HRA calculation. #4 Increase the limit under 80C to 2.5 Lakh. #Home loan interest = Internet on Fixed Deposit. #NPS for private employees with very less contribution by Govt. # Honest tax payers (obviously employees ) should be given some benefit.

#IncomeTaxSection 64 of Income Tax Act, 1961 provides for inclusion in an individual's income, those income which have arisen directly or indirectly to the spouse of that individual from assets transferred by the individual to the spouse for inadequate consideration. This means, if a husband transfers cash to his wife for no reason then interest on such cash shall be added to the husband's income.A husband's output depends upon the back house performance of his wife(house wife). see PDF

Property registration and transfer should be only by means of cheque/RTGS/NEFT irrespective of the amount. The mode of payment should form part of the documents. Even PAN should be mandatory. People without PAN should have one before having properly transactions. State Government should provide details of sale/purchase online without revealing the names. It will improve stamp duty revenue. Stamp Duty should be equal across the States.

The first and foremost measure that I would personally suggest is to have different set of Income Tax slabs based on the class of people such as billionaires, working class earning a particular level of income etc. It doesn't make sense to tax people making crores and people earning peanuts in the same manner as it affects the livelihood and financial planning of middle income households. Second thing is to do away with GST annual return for the years 2017-18 and 2018-19.

My suggestion - If goverment invest more budget in education and research then definitely India become top country. Goverment open one institute like everone send to own reserch and selected product commercialized and help by goverment to make startup. In agriculter goverment open more storage house for grain storing and need to reach advance technology to ground level

Govt should focus on revenue generation and better fiscal balance in place. The tax base should be wider, instead of merit basis, world central banks having lower and negative interest rate, this is the best time to raise investment from global investors both FDI and FII paths. Government should disinvest its holdings from all PSUs across all industries, government should focus on reduce imports consistently, focus on growthpath pvt player also follow, will create employment & restore consumption
