Pls tax heavily beedis and loose tabaco. Save the poor, the cost we are paying as a Nation is quite heavy. No point in taxing only Cigarettes which is anyway consumed by middle class and the rich who can afford to spend something on health care.

India's Boon as well Bane is Population. Having said that,it is time that Government takes certain systematic initiative to control population before it explodes to unmanageable proportion.I suggest that in this budget to introduce certain disincentive either thru Taxation or thru dis-allowance of government schemes for families having third child and above. It could be un popular. But this need to be done for a better living in our country .

Dear sir, GEM (Government E- Market) should be made compulsory for all public sector procurement's. Private parties / OEM,s and Multi national companies shouldcompulsoraliy should be registered in it, so that the pricing and the GoVT money can be saved, Most of the govt. money is taken away by MNC,s and private parties, with huge parties. For examp the spare part when it is imported is shown as Rs50/- for quantity of 50000 pieces but when it is sold it is priced at Rs 50000/

Allocate funds for multimode (Road, Tram, Rail[mono, metro, suburban & Sky bus], Air & Water) transport in all cities. If difficult, then ask the corporates and big shots in our country to fund for the same, and provide them free space for advertisement in return. Thus everyone can benefit.
