Create a film about your grandparents, and share it with us!

In the latest episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged Indian children to engage with their grandparents and ask them about their life as children: what sports they played, which theatre or cinema they went to, which relatives they visited, festivals they celebrated, and so on.

These stories would not just take the children to India back then, but also be an invaluable treasure for the family, to be cherished forever.

Here’s an opportunity for all children (and adults too), to interview their loved Dada-Dadis, Nana-Nanis or any other elder in the family, like ‘cub reporters’; video record the same; and share with the MyGov family!

Button dabao, kahani suno aur sunao!

I have learned from my uncle regarding respect of ladies. My uncle always says me that don not touch ladies with or without any reason even she is your sister. My school days my teacher always says me that "live for others" & don't for yourself. When you are young leave for your father,0 mother & your brothers, do what ever you can for them and don't expect anything. After marriage you are a deduct yr duties give good health and wealth to your wife & child upto your life.

My grandparents are not alive today. In fact my grandfather late Mahtab Rai (younger brother of novelist Munshi Premchand) passed away even before I was born. That generation was privileged to live in undivided India, move freely from Karachi, Lahore to Dahaka. Wish we could also see those days. Though Karachi sounds bit difficult to access it should not be difficult to bring Dhaka to our fold. Some diplomacy and Bangladesh could once again become our own East Bengal. Do I expect too much?
