“Deshke Utsav” Is a campaign brought to you by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Government of India. The Utsav Portal website, a digital initiative developed and launched by the Ministry of Tourism, aims to showcase all the events, festivals and live darshans across India to promote different regions of the country as popular tourist destinations worldwide. This portal showcases the month-wise and State wise calendar contents on festivals, Events and Online Pooja/Aarti. The Ministry of Tourism invites suggestions from the citizens of India about the innovative ways in which we can save the disappearing festivals/cultures and the ways to promote them worldwide. Ministry of Tourism encourages users to visit the Utsav platform/website, where users can find information about various events, festivals, and can watch real-time darshans across the nation https://utsav.gov.in/ The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page. Last Date of Submission 31st December 2022

Each festival has significance. We appreciate each living thing in the ecosystem. The best among it is to respect gurus as 'Guru Poornima'. On this day we thank our guru for knowledge they have provided. There are cultural programs celebrating guru poornima. I think this would be great idea to promote worldwide.

Indian festivals are true representation of culture which provide Immunity in that particular season with healthy diet and spiritual environment which ultimately create positive vibes in environment and relieves pressure

There use to be fairs When I Was Kid, Now a days, I Can't find that charm in fairs and less number of fairs, One Problem With it is, People are unwilling to give thier land to set up fairs, What can be done is the Native village panchayat/ Fair Organisers should collect Minimum tax and should compensate the land owners
