The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

Regarding the Nasha and Drugs I wanted to suggest if you can able to stop selling the GUTKA from the country because I have been to 5 countries including my Home Country and no country sells this. This not only help in first CLEAN INDIA because atleast the govt. office building corners of stairs will be clean but also the streets and footpaths...its just the strong steps the govt has to take....considering the revenue...Hope you understand my point.

All the Clinics/nursing homes/hospitals/phc must register the symptoms and ailments, locality of the patients in a portal. This gives a better idea if an epidemic is spreading or not.In my locality a lot of people got affected by Dengue fever and the Local Health dept says there is no such thing and you need not fear it.The portal helps you in profiling the disease spread like area ,age etc

Dear Modiji, I sure India will progress much more under your leadership. Could we please do something to STOP Food Adulteration. This is becoming more common than it was few decades ago. I also believe this is a really cause for people to caught with life threatening diseases like cancer, chest & lungs diseases, skin diseases and many more similar. I am worried if effective steps are not taken in order to restrict milk & core food adulteration country will never grow healthy. Thank you.

Dear PM sir, let us welcome india's future just opening eyes in this world We have already many schemes in this regard and that desetrves appreciation. But let all of us not forget that we have two phase of nation INDIA and BHARAT. Kindly plan a long term strategy and focus more on the new borns in the families that are struggling for their survival and minimum livelihood so that we may have an india with not much differences among different categories as if today.
