The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

Respected sir, black money should be utilized for agricultural purposes. My idea is that whole agricultural sector should be handover to government. Certain amount of the income from agriculture should be given to the owner.& certain should be kept to the govt. unemployed youth of village should be encouraged to work in the field of that village. govt should pay certain part of income to that unemployed youth. so that it will increase productivity of agricultural land to optimal & reduce suicide

Commonly it is said that the Govt benefits from taxes on alcohol. But it has been shown that the Govt ends up spending more than the taxes earned to mitigate the bad effects of alcohol such as accidents, murders, rapes, etc.Has the Govt. of Gujarat come to a halt without alcohol taxes? Alcohol not only endangers one's own but also that of others(accidents kills innocent people on the road). Thus alcohol addiction is much more serious than tobacco addiction. This needs telling in schools/colleges.

India has much reduced maternal and under-5 child mortality over the past two decade. Progress to reduce newborn deaths has been much slower. India has one of the highest burdens of mortality and stillbirths in the world, with 7,50,000 babies dying each year within their first month of life. This represents 55% of deaths of child under five years in India. Most of these deaths are preventable with the knowledge and effective interventions that a Solid program could undertake substantially.

Dear Sir, It is only logical and natural in attracting Govt employee's children to study in Govt schools. (Due to transferable job some are in Kendriya Vidhyalaya). For example Govt employees Air travel is through Air India. Similarly many such. This idea will be a good move.
