LPG is one of the ‘clean’ cooking fuel with present consumer base of 17cr in the country and present coverage is 60% of the households. Government of India is committed to increase LPG coverage in the country to 75% of the household. Present, LPG distributor network has more than 17000 distributors spread having presence in both Rural and Urban areas of the Country. Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India is of the view that there is a need to increase of LPG coverage in the rural areas considering the benefits of LPG in terms of health and environment. Ministry recognizes that availability, accessibility and affordability of LPG are the key factors to increase the LPG coverage in rural areas. This can be done with bringing in new distributorships aligning with challenges encountered with respect of making them available to the last mile.

Therefore, Ministry solicits suggestions/inputs from citizens on the new model of distributorship particularly for the areas such as Hilly/Desert/Densely forested/other difficult locations. Also, to suggest names of locations which require establishing new distributorship.

जिस प्रकार एलपीजी को घर घर पहुँचाया जा रहा है, वैसे वैसे केरोसिन के उपभोगताओं में भी कमी आ रही है। इसके साथ साथ भारत में कार्यरत केरोसिन डीलर भी बेरोज़गारी की तरफ जा रहे हैं। क्यों ना केरोसिन डीलर को एलपीजी एजेंसी दे दी जाए। ऐसा करने से सरकार को बने बनाये सेले पॉइंट भी मिल जाएंगे और केरोसिन डीलर्स का भी रोज़गार यथावत चलता रहेगा।

thanks for making it easy by making online payment for LPG booking.
But there must be option to take delivery at home or from Godowns & payment should be taken accordingly after deducting delivery charges, if home delivery option is taken.

useing network of ration shops , nagrik suvidha Kendra's & post offices PAN India with DBT /adhaar gas cylinder of 2~5kg can be distributed. for More gas connection system similar online registration with proofs upload & showing original at the time of connection can be done. people should have option to select only cylinders or with stove with them online.

ration shops can be used with DBT schemes can be used for distribution. Local nagrik suvidha Kendra's linked with DBT/ Adhar can be used for distribution of 5kg cylinders .the strength of distribution gets multiplied & if required more local post office can also be roped in.

शहरी इलाकों में कूड़े से गैस बनाने की तकनीक लागू किया जाए। आरडब्ल्यूए के सहयोग से इसे लागू किया जा सकता है। इससे कॉलोनी का कूड़ा कॉलोनी के लोगों के लिए गैस बनाने के काम में आएगा और गैस आयात में कमी आएगी।

सर जी, एलपीजी का कवरेज बढ़ रहा है यह अच्छीे बात है। लेकिन एलपीजी के साथ-साथ सोलर कुकर को भी बढ़ावा दिया जाए। यह कुकर ऐसे हों जो वर्तमान में प्रचलित सोलर कुकर की तुलना में जल्दी खाना बनाएं। इससे स्वुच्छ ईंधन के अभियान को बढ़ावा मिलेगा। गांवों में गोबर गैस का प्रयोग सफल रहा है लेकिन समस्या यह है कि जिन परिवारों के पास पशुधन नहीं हैं वे इसे नहीं बनवा पाते हैं। सोलर कुकर के प्रचलन से जलावन की लकड़ी का इस्तेमाल घटेगा व रसोई से होने वाले प्रदूषण से भी मुक्ति मिलेगी।

We should give emphasis on biogas plants for all especially for big complexes where we can also utilized the the by products for the better ccultivations.

In cities like Mumbai where CNG is made available to some parts of the city but should be extended to entire city as a result of which LPG consumption of the city can be used in other parts of the country
