Our farm lands'productivity is static or with very low progress inspite of Very good technologies. Soil Organic carbon deficit is the reason resulted due to Intensive agriculture and which is inevitable for many reasons. Vermicompost enriches soil health and makes the soil alive. Farmers know this but reluctant to invest @Rs5000/ton,a very reasonable cost.It is not a difficult task to Govt to facilite its production by disposing the municipal waste simultaneously.

There is no dustbin available in most of the metro station in Delhi NCR region. I am not sure this is whose responsibility to keep dustbin in metro station.

Need to design separate dustbin for car, autorickshaw, bus, metro, train. Portal or mobile app to complain about the people who throw garbage at road and public place.

1. Many products such as detergents for washing machines are packed in plastic bags, then put into stiff cartons, enclosing plastic spoons to measure out the detergent. 2.Reduction of packaging materials on such items is warranted and may reduce the cost of the product to the consumer. 3. Detergent powders contain dust-sized particles, which flies when handling. Dustless and properly granulated powders are the solution, to be addressed at stage of manufacture.

burning of organic and inorganic waste in residential areas must be discouraged, since that adds to air pollution. Separated bio-waste can be composted in a small area or container kept outside and the compost utilised to fertilise plants and lawns in the common spaces of apartments and compound of houses. have been doing this practically. Reduces waste thrown into dust-bins

Smart Waste Management.
Waste management is not a ‘one-time solution’ but is an ‘on-going process’, what kind of waste we had in 1990s is quite different today in ‘quality & quantity’ and solutions can’t be individual or independent but thoroughly planned and organized.

We are in process to set up a household waste management plant at our Housing Society in Gurgaon with the help of Green Bandhu. All household wet waste will be processed to make fertilizer which can be used in the green area of society. The residents have been requested to keep two bins, one for putting up wet/semi wet waste/kitchen waste and other for dry waste. The aim is to decentralize the processing system and to contribute in protection of environment. I think all RWAs should follow

We are ignoring the first thing while working on any issue, it is called "PREVENTION".. There is a need to understand where is the solid waste coming from, how it can be reduced. Prevention should help dissolve 75% of the problem. Outdated, life-over appliances, packaging materials, newspaper and magazines, books and notebooks, wood, construction material waste, kitchen waste etc. Companies selling appliances should take back waste involving outdated, life-over appliances for recycling.

Public should be made aware of the importance of waste management. There should be two types of containers for dumping waste i.e. bio-degradable and non-biodegradable like we have post-boxes for local and inter-state letters. People should be advised to separate waste right at their home and dump accordingly. Also more & more companies to be promoted for use of waste to generate electricity, manure.
