We must celebrate BAPU aka MAHATMA GANDHI'S 150th birth anniversary as: Fulfilling his dream of making India clean by finalizing some norms on which every state is to be the cleanest & if ain't found than the state must be charged some heavy fine.

I have two ideas 1. I hope it is better that for every state, there should be a youthful team to develop rural areas by cleaning , providing water and encourage farming. 2. We should advertise our Indian attire by spreading it all over world and eradicate foreign cloths..

The aim of the nationwide cleanliness drive: to clean up the country by 2019, the year that marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Gandhi, who wanted to make sanitation a priority for India more than a century ago. The current drive aims to end the wide-spread practice of open defecation, build more toilets and improve waste management, among other goals.

“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption of our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider of our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favour by serving him. He is doing us a favour by giving us the opportunity to do so.”

One of Bapu’s favourite hymns was “vaishnav jan to tene kahiye je, peer parayee jaane re,” which means “a good soul is one who feels the pain of others.” It was this spirit that made him live for others. Today, we, the 1.3 billion Indians are committed to working together to fulfil the dreams Bapu saw for a country for which he gave his life.

An overwhelming majority of Indians today did not have the good fortune of being a part of the freedom struggle. We could not die for the nation then but now, we must live for the nation and do everything possible to build the India our freedom fighters envisioned. Today we have a great opportunity to fulfil Bapu’s dream.
