How can we stop the ‘brain drain’ wherein we are losing some of the brightest minds to other nations due to lack of suitable opportunities here? At the same time how do we get back those who left India, giving them opportunities whereby they shine and make India proud?

Biggest reason why we cannot stop 'brain drain' is Devaluation of Indian Rupee. Value of Indian Rupee is very less as compared to dollar or pound or any other currency. If we can increase the value of indian rupee then brain drain can be controlled to a large extent.

reduce underemployment - a lot of people are able but shy and less articulate . They remain outside employment market or at lower levels ! we can sponsor and mentor them for more utilisation of thier talent .

NRI's are sending USD 90 billion every year mostly in financial investments. They should be encouraged to set-up businesses, factories by providing them special scheme of incentives and east set-up operations.

On completion of 60 days NDA Govt has asked the private companies to regularise the employees who are working on contractual basis. This is a welcome advice. While there is dearth of Doctors, thousand of Doctors in Govt Depts especially in railways are working on contractual basis and have completed more than 03(three) years . As they do not get good salary, perquisite benefit like regular doctors young contractual doctors even at the age of 40-45 years don't hesitate to quit railways and switch over to private hospitals like APOLLO, AMRI etc. Hope govt will consider above suggestion and do the needful. Another important thing for brain drain here is many skilled workers are not getting opportunity due to reservation system. This really affects many people having good marks are denied jobs even when they have good marks & qualification. Government must find a solution to sort this issue. All top posts must be appointed based on talent and qualification not on reservation based. This is the main reason for many leaving India. Self employed are made to suffer due to lack of support from Officials.

In my opinion job creation within country is a challenge due to many factors. Starting a business is not so easy in India as in US or other western economies. Funds for scientific research are limited. Universities/colleges focus on just providing a degree which enable a person to apply for a job but don't equip the students with skills and traits required to do the job. There is a need to encourage those with all means who want to setup their own businesses. more funds for scientific research.
