How to promote Indian handlooms as a brand and to ensure quality products to the consumers?

India has a long tradition of excellence in making handloom products with extraordinary skills and craftsmanship. 44 lakh weavers are engaged in this activity, out of which 78% are women.

By the Handlooms (Reservation of Articles for production) Act, 1985, the Central Government has reserved articles or class of articles for exclusive production of handlooms for the protection and development of the handloom industry.
Further to this effort, the Ministry of Textiles launched “Handloom Mark” scheme with effect from 28.06.2006 for promoting and preserving the Indian handloom products and securing a premium position in the domestic as well as international market. This provides a collective identity to the handloom products of India for popularizing the hand woven products originating from the handloom sector. Thus, the Handloom Mark does not necessarily guarantee a bench mark quality for the product, but ensures only the origin of the product.

Though the weavers produce rich variety of designs and textures, there is not much emphasis on the quality of the product due to various reasons. Experience of implementing Handloom Mark in the past years indicate that this has served the limited purpose of production of cloth by handlooms and not been able to address the quality related parameters which are integral for development of handloom as a niche product.

It is stressed on the need to produce a fabric “with no defect and no effect on environment” and develop “Indian Handlooms” brand for assuring quality products meeting social and environmental compliances.

Solution for resolving issues of Land Acquisition bill : compensation provided to farmers in current bill is 2 to 4 times the market value. However, it is unclear when it will be 2 and when it should be 4. I propose that farmers should be provided 4 times the market value for each and every land. Half of which should be cash when land is acquired and other half as equity of the project for which land is acquired. This way farmers will also became investors and contribute to industrialisation.

Heard about a case happened in Badlapur local train where a woman hit by stone died since proper medical ailment not given on time even when she got first aid on time reason she had to be taken from hospital to hospital for proper treatment instead of taking her physically from hospital there should be some procedure first to check which hospital can attend her simply on phone so that time can be saved this simple step could saved her life. There should be call centre for this emergency .

भोजनालय यान में पूड़ी सब्जी को जनरल कोच में बेचा जाता है जब जनरल कोच में नही बिकता है तो रात्रि 11 बजे सभी स्लीपर कोच में ठंडा पूड़ी सब्जी बेचा जाता है जब की पूड़ी सब्जी 30 का मिलता है वेज विरयानी 50 का मिलता है ----- भोजनालय यान में सभी सेल्स मैंन को नाम का बिल्ला लगा होना चाहिए साथ में भोजनालय द्वारा जारी आई डी नंबर के साथ भोजनालय मेनेजर का मोबाइल नंबर भी दर्ज होना चाहिए ----- ताकि कोई गलती या शक होने पर भोजनालय मेनेजर को शिकायत किया जा सके

भोजनालय यान का रेट लिस्ट सभी बिकने वाले सामान का बड़े अच्छरो में होना चाहिए ---जब की रेट लिस्ट में चौमिन का रेट नही है वसूली 30 रुपया होता है चाय 7 रुपया के साथ 3 रूपये का बिस्कुट दिया जाता है काफ़ी को 7 के बदले 10 का बेचा जाता है -----जनता को शिकायत करने का जगह फ़ोन नंबर नही मालूम होता है शिकायत मोबाईल से होना चाहिए जिसका नंबर सभी कोच के हर रो में प्रिंट होना चाहिए

irctc के रिटायरिंग रूम में रिजर्वेशन के लिए जब कोई 3 दिन का स्टे को अप्लाई करता है तो वहा किसी एक रूम में जो जगह खाली होता है वही चुनना होता है जब की अन्य रूम में जगह होने के बाद भी सोफ्टवेयर इसकी इजाजत नही देता है जब की देना चाहिए बुक करने वाले की जरूरत पूरी नही होती उदाहरण -- फरवरी में 21 से 23 स्टे करना हो तो न्यू डेल्ही में डोरमेटरी में रूम 401में 8 बजे से 20 बजे तक खाली है 212 में 20 बजे से 20 बजे तक खाली हैतो आप या तो रूम 212 चुने या 401 चुने दोनों नही चुन सकते--चुनने का आप्सन होना चाहिए

परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र को पूरा करने के लिए 5 से अधिक साल लग सकते हैं। यदि यह पांच साल में पूरा नहीं हो सका तो क्या हमें इसका कार्य बीच में ही छोड़ देना चाहिए? इसीलिए 5 साल के भीतर परियोजना के पूरा नहीं होने के बावजूद जमीन खरीददार के पास ही रहने का प्रावधान किया गया है। तो साफ साफ लिखे की परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र को 5 साल के कानून से छुट होगी ------ परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र के नाम पर सभी बड़ी परियोजनाओं को परियोजना के लिए छुट का होना गलत है --------सार ये की जो कानून में लिखा होता है वही कानून होता है मोखिक
