4) create a body not governed by SAI to oversee local management of at least 1 stadium in Delhi as a trend setter 5) utilise the revenue to maintain and better the facilities 6) organise summer camps for kids - can be a huge crowd puller as grounds are non existent in urban Delhi #SAI

There are a lot of ways to be honest. 1) channelise school and college tournaments through SAI stadium. DU, Amity, indrapastha universities are big enough. There are ample schools in Delhi ncr. 2) organise and plan zonal, district and state level tournaments with defined calendar dates through SAI stadiums. This will help scout for talent too 3) start up lifetime membership for local residents like Asian games, roshanara or golf clubs for serious members with facilities of course

All casual sportspersons can be charged a hefty entrance fee to make the premises free for sports persons who have played at the district level and above. Otherwise, privatise it and let market forces decide the fees for everybody.

Government should come out of the sports business and instead handover it to better managers and player groups who have generate and manage their finances. Governments can provide some subsidies as when necessary and when parliaments deems it fit case.

Speaking about the JLN Stadium in particular, it cannot drive much revenue from sports specially football because the turf is artificial. If there is grass turf lots of sports can be played well!

there are many games in india in which cricket is most popular. To make other game popular, there should be prize distribution at district level. Give respect to players of other game. Apply sports tax on cricket matches and on cricket players. and use this tax to develop other games by this players and students will take interest on other games as well. The govt also pay attention to cricket like pm modi selected only cricket players for the swachh bharat abhiyan not other players.
