India has an estimated 20.9 lakh people living with HIV. However, nearly 30 -35 percent of these do not know there HIV status. After a person gets infected with HIV, there is a long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years when infected person may not have any symptoms till his immunity goes down significantly and he start getting different opportunistic infection like TB, diarrhoea, fungal infection etc. Hence most of the HIV infected persons present to health system in late stage when immunity is very low and their response to treatment may not be optimal. Also during this long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years, though they are infected but may not be aware of HIV status and are capable of spreading the infection their spouse or others if they continue to indulge unprotected sex.

Early detection of PLHIV is beneficial for patient himself as he can receive timely appropriate treatment including ART as well as for the community to stop further transmission of HIV.

We invite suggestion from community/ NGO/ CBO/ Civil society and public at large their views/ ideas on How to facilitate early detection of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and put them on ART as soon as possible.

I think, when ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports can take care of all the sport activities of entire country why not even take cricket under its control to reduce the importance of cricket and also to develop all other sport activities as well. Every individual's talent in any sport should be given importance and proper infrastructure for these are not provided due to the craze in cricket and the money paid to cricketers and the income of BCCI should be monitored and strict action is awaited.

The other way is by asking the parents of drug abusing children to come forward and give the information as they have the firsthand information about their kids. they have to be promised about the confidentiality about the information revealed and there has to be a new branch in the station consisting of psychiatrists who can analyse the information and act accordingly. parents should come forward and share all the information with the special team.

about tackling the drug menace-sir the best way to do it is by giving police all the power to nab such drug lords.police have all the information about such people but no power to act on the leads.the cop should be let to act on their own and the order should not come from the hierarchy so that there will be no pressure on the person catching and should be given a freehand.

DRUGS MENACE; This is a sign of the modern times where our value systems are not put in place by us. I strongly suggest "Teaching Yoga and Meditation" at young age from High School onwards. This program will resolve the young generation from its mental, physical, emotional, social and family life troubles. Please add the same as PHYSICAL EDUCATION and not as HINDU RELIGIOUS TASK. As we progress our young people are going to benefit from YOGA AND MEDITATION. JAI HIND

why Government is not increasing the ASI strength I have seen many old monuments with poor condition and lots of encroachments, let us stat a movement like swatch Bharat and let us adopt every old Monument by corporate and ASI will renovate it jointly.If now we re taking care of those Monuments in all over India after some time may be we will not find it.
