Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

R/Sir, There is some ideas to make locker facility to be digital. 1. Locker facility should be available for only who have ATM card. 2. Finger print should be one of the option for its operation. 3. Charge for locker should be free. By which, gold jewelry should be reach with bank/govt. 4. Locker holder person should nominate the other for operation next after his left.

According to me following are the challenges in implementing Digital locker: 1. Assurance of Privacy and confidentiality. 2. Integration of legality with technology and governance/processes. 3. Reliability. 4. Establishing seamlessness. 5. Misuse of infrastructure. At this point, I do not know how to meet these challenges. I will share my thoughts and limited ideas in my next post.

Digital locker should be linked with Aadhar number & Mobile number. Finger print verification will add additional security to the account.

On making account on digital locker the user must be add his/her name, email Id[,password,contact no ( these are not showing to any other user)]and use caption to login in every single login. And send OTP to contact no everytime helps misusing of account with another. And also gives digital certified number to all records in locker . Thank you Yours faithfully Harsha b s

Every citizen with family details should have one card linked with Aadhar card, voter card mobile no. it should be linked with Bank account, property transaction and business no like TAN, PAN, VAT must be all linked to trace the trail of money.

I am already member in Digital Locker. I uploaded my educational certificate with e-sign and details are verified. Is this is sufficient for genuine digital certificate. Kindly link up digital life certificate for employees pension.

मोदी -से मनुष्य जो होते हैं, कंचन का भार न ढोते हैं। पाते हैं धन बिखराने को, लाते हैं रतन लुटाने को । जग से न कभी कुछ लेते हैं, दान ही ह्रदय का देते हैं। मेरे प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ऐसे ही हैं।

Sir,I suggest 3 steps for the digital locker : 1) There should be a fingerprint check and a password for opening the locker. 2) The locker should first ask for the name of the person who uses it. 3) In case of any discrepancy, an alerting alarm should ring up. I hope my suggestions would help you. Thank you.
