Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

provide a permission to link the required document for passport verification to passportindia website rather than uploading the documents there again. link provide a option in passportindia.gov.in websiteonly, to link direclty to digitallocker website, in that for which ever the document user give the permission, that will be directly linked.

#Digital India This project will not work as you think because there are more than 100 plans in govenments dustbin which was failed due to lack of support provided after execution/implementation. Make sure that we implement Digital India with proper escaltion matrix available for every user and responsive.

Do not allow evryone to create Digital Locker, that can put their security in risk because everyone in india is not aware of hacking.

Digital India locker is much secure as biometrics authentication used in it. Please do not give a chance to hackers by replacing Biometric authentication to some other mechanism which are very easy to crack these days in IT. In first realese , I would recommend governement to facilitate Digital Locker facility only from Government Sectors\E-governance (CSC) Centers. General public can get a digital locker created from authorized centers by governement. --Information Security specialist

Government of India should make mandatory for all Government Employees as well as Citizen to upload their Caste Certificate, 8th/10th/ 12th/Graduation & Others on DigiLocker. Because in India Caste Certificate & Degree Certificate are mostly procured for Govt. Employment or for Being Public Figure. This can help Govt. to verify fake Caste Certificate used for getting Promotion and Govt. Job.

A campaign for citizen's enrollment for digital locker should be started. Its use should be promoted. Through it online verification of documents should be done in schools, colleges, government departments and the private sector. This will save money, time and paper.
