Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

सर्वर देश से बहार होने के कारन हमारी जानकारी का कोई अनैतिक लाभ उठा सकते है । तो हमारा ये सुझाव है इतनी सारी सॉफ्टवेर और हार्डवेअर की ताकत है तो हम दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा और बेहतर सर्वर क्यों नहीं बना सकते वैसे भी हमारे पास बहुत साड़ी बड़ी बड़ी कंपनिया है जो दुनिया को चलती है अभी तो PPP मोडल से सरकार और बड़ी कंपनिया मिल कर कुछ भी कर सकते है ।

How can we ensure our privacy?? Who all in Govt can access our documents? Are we given information whenever someone from govt access our documents?

Government must use documents only in digital locker.Don't take hardcopy from people.Grama Panchayat should help for the people to upload the documents.

Digital locker is very good step and Hats off for the developers and PM Modi sir, my suggestion is to add FORENSIC TOOL to verify Images i.e. the document image is original or edited by software like photoshop.

Digital Locker should be 1) One should be able to upload and download the documents 2) He can share the documents with Government agencies from where they can download 4) Encrypted services web Services 5) Mutli-Lingual 7) One should be able to link Cloud services like Google Drive, Dropox etc. 8) Reminders for the expiry of certificates\ID proofs like Passport 9) e-Service link to obtain certificates in digital format
