Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

Please ensure large scale implementation of this facility for every segment of people (Personal, Business & Government) viz, farming, academics,taxation,Social Security, Banking, Insurance etc...

Digital locker is super initiative but creating awareness is difficult.It should be promoted throughout India by Air,Tv,Notice,etc...So by this way can make govt initiative will be more appraisable!!!

A major hiccup in signing for digital lockers is outdated or changed mobile numbers. one can only change his/her mobile number at an aadhar centre. many towns, cities, rural areas do not have a permanent aadhar centre. this needs to be sort our first. make email validity also acceptable. or make permanent aadhar centres available.

Costs of the Internet Data charges are very high in comparison to some other Asian countries as well speed is also very low.This requires urgent interfere to popularise the Digital India Campaign.

I have a doubt.! Will this system work only for the certificates issued after July 2015? Will this system have provision to ask the issuer to upload the e-certificate for existing certificate which is issued earlier?

sir, Digital locker is facility is time and money saver.I suggest that beforer sign up digital locker It should be manadatory that KYC of the holder is OK and its KYC link shuld be accessable by all the agencies where its needed. Sir, In Banks now to activate an inactive bank account or opening of bank account KYC is required this will solve the problem of unnecessary signing of various paper forms and submissions of ID/Address proof.

#DigitialLocker should be secure with latest technology. A single loophole in the software / hacking into system would expose all personal details about an individual including his/her governmental documents which can be misused. I feel that we are still not upto the mark with developed countries & technologies. Neither our govt departments along with it's staff is well equipped. #DigitialLocker would be a big risk. Sorry, but i don't support this initiative #DigitalIndia at this moment !!!
