Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

It is one of the greatest tool in terms of governance. It also a great move in terms of Environment. My only concern is that, usage of this should be made compulsory in all institutes by act of Law. In the initial stage this should me be mandatory for all educational institutes, revenue departments etc., to push certificates to digital locker directly with out giving hard copies to the concerned.

Now days everything is linked with Mobile, OTP and other validation etc, so first thing first, make the mobile Roaming free across the India, so that people do not have to change their mobile no. for example there is Mobile No linked with Adhaar card, there are situation where many people has to change the mobile No. Its very good initiative, and going forward this roaming free mobile will be a great help in such initiatives.

Digital Locker should update itself automatically via AADhaar Number in each and every field and should hold a persons each and every documents and certificates from the minute level

Digital locker should be attached to each and every website so that it will help to move better . and most of the people don't know what's digital locker is so advertising in TV and also a poster in the cities help this to do better

1. Application should allow authentication and verification of the documents by govt body or individual s like gazzeted officers. Like attestation should be allowed to be performed on these document. 2. There should be a way where govt departments like education, urban development, health ministry can upload PDF document directly to this document locker for individuals thus reducing huge number of printing overhead department are carrying. This shall also reduce the forging of documents.

Make one digital center for found all information with details and that center shd access by anyone with his UID/PAN/mobile/ORGANISATION REGISTRATION number with reason for what thy want to see it

This locker is compulsory to everyone. All document store on locker like LC, Marksheet & No need physical document, just give the aadhar number & all work done like apply for job, college admission,etc
