Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

हर नागरिक तक इंटरनेट पहुंचे और बहुत कम कीमत पर पहुंचे तो ये योजना सफल हो सकती है. पहला प्रयास यही होना चाहिए कि हर नागरिक को सस्ते और टिकाऊ डिवाइस और इंटरनेट उपलब्ध हो.

First ofall , internet availability for poor economical class is needed. And it may be done through each vilage panchayat free of cost for each citizen.

Due to e-locker it is easy to save the document. We proud ourself that India is also coming in the race of electronic like other country.

Honourable PM Sir in my view to make digital India rural centric digital solution corner may be established atleast in all gram panchayats like ATM counters where people can get hard copies of death,birth,residential,income,caste,matriculation,intermediate,graduation certificates and also can apply for above purposes and can store them directly in their digital lockers through AADHAR NOS

#Digitallocker a very good initiative but there is problem to generate user name and password and also not be able to use it by social media option so I request the team of digital India to make some easy way to operate so many people can get benefit of it
