Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

we can creat a higher suitable and personalise bit encryption with strong otp system like over banking companies uses in india

super.... but aadhar number is mandatory...please make use of passport number also for login. Option should be aadhar or passport number

#DigitalLocker, #DigitalIndia Why do not we make this central database for all future result released. Which would promote all people to open their account in digital locker as well as this would help build digital profile of each and every individual and assist government in taking measures or initiatives accordingly. This would be much better than uploading scanned copy which does not serve purpose of collecting data points and building digital profile of each student for taking initiatives.

Its a great step taken by Government to reduce paperwork and can save all our essential documents in digital locker,now the App should be made so that we can access our Documents anywhere by our Smartphones

sir,digital locker have the information of one person. it should have the feature of adding aadhar no. of family members so it is been dynamic in nature and have various accessibility functions such as verifying the family details and population cencus can be calculated and persons not having family planning can easily be detected.all hospitals and primary healthcare centeres must have the records of child birth and should be added in their parent profile.

I think it's a great thought to have all our documents being stored digitally so that it can be referenced to anyone without facing the difficulty of carrying the photocopies,thus saving the precious trees generated papers,time and energy.But,it is equally important that the storage should be made safe,secure and the data stored can not be manipulated or accessed by anyone else.Besides,some extra storage should be provided for uploading current pics,signatures and other documents or files
