Draft guidelines for Skills Universities are formulated by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in consultation with multiple stakeholders including Skills Universities. These are placed on the MSDE website for comments/ feedback.

Comments and suggestions may be sent at paritosh.gupta95@nic.in or submitted on MyGov.in by 21st October 2018.

National Policy for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship 2015 emphasized the importance of Skills Universities to be promoted either as de-novo institutions or as a part of existing university landscape. Further, in the wake of Skill India Mission, a number of universities with the nomenclature of “Skills Universities” have come up. However, they are following different norms and varying nomenclature for the degrees awarded, in the absence of common standards in the skills arena.

Skills based education differs from its general counterpart in terms of curriculum, pedagogy, faculty, mode of delivery, eligibility and assessment criteria, etc. and thus, would require a separate set of norms. The purpose of these guidelines is to lay down minimum norms for the establishment and functioning of Skills Universities to ensure adherence to minimum standards as India ventures into these new skilling avenues.

These guidelines do not intend to supersede the extant UGC norms regarding the regulation of higher education in India.

बच्चों को skill बनाने का सबसें बढीया है skilluniversity.लेकिन ऐ सब.अब.से मिडल school से ही आरंभ किया जाय तो आने बाले समय मे बहुत सारे बदलाव देखने को मिलेगा।

Dear Sir/madam, I wish to suggest that in such skills universities maximum weightage & time of course study should be allocated upon "hands-on-job" experience. In general, we see students spending most of their time in cramming theoretical books only. In existing technical courses offered in our country, there is too less importance given to hands on experience on the subject matter. And examinations should also be devised in a manner that students should be tested upon in a real type envir

Skill university se kuch nahi hoga rojgar kaha hai mai B.Sc agriculture karke berojgar hu kaya paida is se badhiyaa murkh kisan hai jo khet me pasina bahata hai hum log se badhiya

Sir Skill Universities is work well when we give knowledge about what the world want we prepare our youth for word not only for india you and me also know aac to indian poulation it is not possible for us to provide the job all so why are not produce the youth as globally in this field China doing more than India in every country China's immigrant are more than indian so my mean is that the level of skill in skill University is internationalized thanks sir .

कुछ नहीं बदल सकता भारत में बैंक वाले लोन उन्हें ही देते है जो वापस नहीं भरते मैं आज बहुत दुखी हु क्योंकि मेरे बच्चो को बिना फीस के स्कूल से निकाल दिया गया मेरा काम धन्धा नहीं चलता बहुत परेशान हु इसलिए आत्महत्या करने की सोच रहा हूँ जो अमीर हैं उनके bpl कार्ड बन जाता है मैं किराए के मकान में रहता हूँ अपना कुछ नहीं है बहुत से लोगों को जानताहूँ जो बेईमानी से पैसा कमाते है कोई मकान खरीदता है 30 लाख में लेकिन उसकी रजिस्ट्री 8 लाख की होती हैं बाकी सब काली कमाई होती है।। 9950381585

Skill university is a great idea but it needs to be linked with the industry and frequent interactions between industry and skill university is a must. For all courses it should be mandatory to complete on the job training for getting this degree or degree and diploma should be granted only when the student has got a job and had worked in the company for minimum 6 months time

Hello, to improve skills we have re-revised the courses era. We still learning technology which is past away from some years.First of all we learn understand the demand in fthe uture . And tried to learn technology not its application which, we used to learn in our study system. To improve the system we have to update the teachers as well as syllabus with time and demand. And marks is given to candidate on the basis of their knowledge Not MEMORIES the thing.

माननीय श्री वडाप्रधान नरेंद्र भाई मोदी sir मैं अपने जीवन की तकलीफ के बारे में बता रहा हूं यह पढ़ा लिखा हो किंतु आज तक कोई जॉब नहीं मिली और मेरी उम्र बढ़ती जा रही है इसलिए कोई सरकारी नौकरी भी मिलने की उम्मीद कम है मेरे को कोई अच्छी जॉब मिले तो आपकी अति कृपा होगी और मैं आपका सदेव आभारी रहूंगा

Sir iti level pe ager koi company means pvt sector may job miti hai to jo designation milta hai employe ko wo designation pe work nhi hota hai labour ka kaam kr wate hai to sir ager ho sake to ye chije thik ho jis kaam ke liye worker ko ke ja rahe hai wahi kaam mile to acha hai..... Worker ke liye thi aur company ke liye bhi Thank you.....
