In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

API stands for "Application Program Interface" though it is sometimes referred to as an "Application Programming Interface." An API is a set of commands, functions, and protocols which programmers can use when building software for a specific operating system. The API allows programmers to use predefined functions to interact with the operating system, instead of writing them from scratch. APIs are also used by video game consoles and other hardware devices that can run software programs. [1/2]

"using of helmet while riding on byke should be compulsory for rider & pillion" this rule should be very strict. even any film actor or any movie will not show the byke riding without helmet.

1 Respected Prime Minister Modiji, I am very much elated to inform your Good Self that 7 of my 10 suggestions are being implemented 1.Waste Recycling Plant for my Municipality with pipe compost in each house2) Implementation of Jan Dhan Yogna to promote more bank and less cash transactions 3) Starting of Bharath Broadband Scheme 4)Increasing minimum EPF Pension(Rs.1000) 5)EPF limit(Rs.15000) 6) ESIC limit(Rs.25000) 7) All Government transactions and payments going online to reduce corruption.

2 Balance 3 suggestions to be implemented are 1)fixing an all India Minimum Wages taking into consideration the rocketing inflation prevailing in the country2)Withdrawal of big denominations notes of Rs.1000, 500 and 100 to stop black money circulation and inflation and 3) Implementation of Bank Transaction Tax by abolishing of all taxes. Sir mujhe aapki ek soch badi achhi lagi ki useless KANOON hatne chahiye,.........par aise kanoono ki pehchaan kaise ho? unme kya aur kaise change kiya jaye? kya change bas PARLIAMENT level pe hi hona chahiye? kya humein Kanoono ki jarurat nahi hai? is se kitne log prabhavit honge? Aur jo kanoon bacheinge is process ke baad, kya wo UPYUKT aur SUFFICIENT honge? Sir mere vichaar me,......is pe ek open VICHAAR-MANTHAN hona chahiye. sir it is a nice move for all of us but sir digital India program needs so many mediums like electricity , net connection etc sir agar ham electricity ko pare rakh de to hamara mai content net connection hai aur yaha net connection ka position bhot poor hai ham chah kar bhi aapse aur baaki sabse connect nai ho payenge yaha net providing companies 3G net likhte hai sim pe aur jab ghar pe use karo to wo 2G se bhi jyada kharab hai so "first connect India, then digital india".....!!!!!!!!!!!
