Cash transaction is physical while any present digital system requires some mental activity. In card transaction merchant takes the amount while in cash transaction consumer gives the amount. The earlier pdf shows a card system which is exactly like cash transaction system and will be adopted fast then the current systems.

On the railways instead of asking for cash the staff should be provided with hand held card readers. As it stands they take nothing but cash. At least the government should show the way.

Namastey! Mr.Editor, Re-asserting my view on providing free internet access to public, to enable digital transactions. Need of the hour! In this currency crunch scenario! "Free Wi-Fi hotspots" to needy public. Yes! Governments should instruct all the ATM kiosks to provide free Wi-Fi. This will encourage people use digital transactions. All the ATM centres are having 24x7 power supply. To execute this suggestion you don't need extra floor space or expensive hardware.

1)POS Machine in all shops(those have above 10-20k/mnth turnover) should be madaotory:All/Max shops should take digital money and that should be done by Govt. by passing a perfect and strict law. 2)For digital transactions all people should be aware of that and access to smart devices:Govt. should reduce tax on smart devices. 3)Govt. should emphasise on easy & secure online banking process like other counties, what still we dont have in 2016. 4)One wallet for All Banks for customers(Ex-Paytm..

GOI must start it's own payment gateway to reduce charges. Basic phone must be banned for manufacturing or import. No tax on Android phone below 5000. 100 mb data for 30 days @rs 5/- only, or free with recharge of rs 50. Insurance for loss due to fraud. These are some measures, if taken, will lead to increase in digital payment.
