Government bodies should prioritise Smart Working in order to use resources more efficiently and effectively – in preference to reactive cuts to services and other traditional cost-cutting measures such as relocation and restructuring. Changes of location and organisational structure will have little impact if it means doing things in the old way, only in new places and with new job titles.

Government organizations are some of the largest employers in any country and many of them are starting to move towards Smart Working. Some have already progressed quite far on the journey and other are preparing for the same. In Govt.Research dept in Mumbai,Manpower is overstaffed/excess. About 25 % of persons do not possess adequate work .Staff spends about 2 hours/day in canteens. Many senior officers are sidelined & are without work. Some read non-technical books in office .They draw salary to the tune of Rs1.0 -1.5 lakhs per month without any work. This is certainly wastage / misuse of public money. Kindly look into this & save misuse of public money in govt dept in Mumbai.

in the budget 2015-16, there are no provision on creating Operating Cost Index or Production Cost Index which could control the manufacturing goods price. For example if we will purchased a 1MT of MS TOR for making of our building, we are paying ₹55000/MT for that but we can't analyse the actual production cost of that goods whereas we provide to the manufacturer land, road, captive mines for Raw Materials and all other infrastructures.They have to sell their goods in production cost index basis

Idea on Personal Tax simplification (1) Add medical benefits (15K annual), fuel charges (800pm), etc, as part of base tax bracket itself and re-adjust (2)Provide information on what benefits are already part of starting base tax free bracket (3) Adjust all education/cess surcharges as part of tax rate itself (4) Now just declare tax rates and tax bracket that various category of tax assessee need to refer to - e.g. men, women, family, old person, etc category (5)this makes tax filing a easy job.
