All Industries must be shifted to other places i.e. far away from rivers and all the savage waste, dead bodies must be properly managed, by proper facilitating with waste management and also dead bodies decomposition in the area of all rivers like Ganga, Yamuna etc. And all the citizen must get to know/taught them what happens when water get polluted.

Develop a zone called "Prakriti Mitra zone" along the banks of Ganga to a certain distance say 2-5kms, where people are not allowed to bring or sell any plastic plastic bags, covers, bottles etc. Lot of people take or buy Ganga Jal in plastic bottles. we can avoid this by selling small mud pots or earthen pots which it 100 times safer.

cleaning of ganga from himalayas to bay of bengal could well be integrated with nrega scheme of the govt. not only would it give jobs to millions of people but also would surely result into a more productive jobs. many jobless youths could also be aligned towards cleaning ganga project at various management and control level. since the project is so huge , voluntary work by students, ngo's and civic bodies and much nationwide campaign about participation could draw huge response from the masses

1) India being country with rich culture and heritage we can create a awareness among the people of how precious is Ganga in the form of mythological stories, that can be displayed in and around the people gathering spots. This can also be done in the form of drama or skit weekly or every fortnight. 2) Can create Virtual Darshan website this has a chance of reducing the crowd to a little extent.

First of all, please rehabilitate all the houses and people living on the bank of Ganga to somewhere else far from the bank or build some good houses with proper drainage for them.

If India become First Nation to conduct "weird but effective" experiment in cleaning water (As I Have Mention In My Earlier Post.) "Cleaning by Mantras" this will surely attract tourist as this experiment has been never be conducted in World as per my Information .
