River ganga should be cleaned not on the basis of one particular organistaion....rather the cleaning work should be divided among the numbers of private sector corporations based on the areas and zones of works for each of them it will help government to achieve its objectives in a cost efficient manner and on top of that there should be regular cleaning checks done by them as well where all the major decision should b taken by one govt. Department who will head all states department.

we all must have noticed the miss use of railway reservation forms, we are very careless about wastage, a noble idea to stop this is to make it available on payment basis, this will earn revenue to the railways and alertness to fellow citizens, this will not invite any opposition because this will not affect 2nd class travelers in unreserved compartments.

First of all, Industrial waste, which is directly going in rivers all over india, not only in Ganga Ji, should be stopped with immediate effect. For this, state governments should be asked to take strict action against those companies by cancelling their licence. In Kanpur, at many locations, we can see that industrial waste in directly going in Ganga Ji and polluting it. Same is the case with Yamuna Ji in Delhi. There should be very strict rules for treating waste before it goes to any river.

"DO NOT THROW LEFT-OVER STUFF AFTER PUJA INTO THE RIVERS" - Deal All, I have a suggestion to prevent people from throwing the left over material (after Pujas etc.) into the rivers. We normally see that people throw flowers, pepers, ashes etc. into the river specially after Navratri/any other religous ceremonies etc. This really pollutes the rivers. I think our government can talk to the Top Priests (like The Shankaracharyas) who should convey to the people for disposing such material in some other bio-friendly ways and NOT throw into the rivers. They should convey that by disposing such material in some other ways will not have any adverse impact to their Pujas etc. These measures will help in the great mission to save our rivers. Jai Hind...
