All factories established near all rivers must stop untreated hazardous effluents in rivers. These factories must installed water treatment system in their premises within time bound manner. State Pollution Control Boards must check it very very seriously without involving in corruption and must apply hefty penalties with imprisonment and even closure of such pollution creating factories. Local authorities can control it through deployed personnel & CCTV cameras installed on Ghats in festivals..

Government mist act touch on elements on all elements and factors involved in polluting Ganga. In fact new legislation must be passed which calls for strict action against any elements responsible for polluting rivers or any natural water bodies like lakes, streams. I think all the back money stashed abroad must be brought back and parts of it used to restore the ecosystem of our Holy Rivers.

I m from Prayag(Allahabad) which is known as Tertha Raj Prayag i.e. one of the holiest city of India. But now a days situation of Sangam and its ghat is worst. There is no means of daily cleaning of Sangan ghat. First in this connection Nagar Mahapalika authorities should be asked to make arrangement for said purpose. Next PAC battaliaon posted on Sangam nose should be asked to regularise movement of vehicle at ghat. Third vesder on ghat should be checked and asked to maintain clenliness.

People who are exploiting our rivers, especially these factories and manufacturing units, they should be heavily penalized and should be given ultimatum.
