The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act, 2006, has undergone several amendments to better support the growth and development of MSMEs in India. Some key amendments include:
1. **Revision of MSME Definition (2020):**
- The government redefined MSMEs based on their investment and turnover.
- Micro enterprises: Investment up to ₹1 crore and turnover up to ₹5 crore.
- Small enterprises: Investment up to ₹10 crore and turnover up to ₹50 crore.
- Medium enterprises: Investment up to ₹50 crore and turnover up to ₹250 crore.
- This redefinition aims to provide a broader base for MSMEs to avail benefits and to encourage growth.
2. **Introduction of Udyam Registration (2020):**
- Udyam Registration replaced the earlier Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) for a simplified registration process.
- It is fully online, free of cost, and based on self-declaration without the need for uploading documents or certificates.

Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council should also take up cases of undue delay on the part of lending institutions in sanction/disbursement of credit facilities for setting-up/expansion of units or restructuring of the credit availed by units under stress. The ‘delay’ would be reckoned in terms of the relevant guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India.

Plant twice the trees near the highways.
Address erosion control on the rivers.
have more nurseries and plant more trees. Work towards carbon neutrality and offset carbon footprints.
Some portal needs to be developed when you can see your carbon footprint.
Promote energy efficiencies method and advise the people to take less than 4 min of hot shower for energy efficiency.
Sustainable homes program by government which provides affordable loan over 100 years period to the people who want to use Solar energy and these can be recovered via rates and offered by corporation.
Insulation requirement needs to be defined by the governemnt so that people can stay warm and healthy during winter. Also these can be provided in the form of loan to the people.

Simplify process, procedure and standard to open small scale industries in India. At this moment, Every state has their own way to handle this and cause development in one and non-development in other.
Some standards need to be developed to allow only allow export of only 40% of the production and remaining 60 % should stay inside India. At this moment, We export things to Nepal (Not blaming anything on them ) and from their things are exporting out to other countries. Thus loosing revenue on a lot of things.
Import duties should be less but a standard fees should be defined on the vehicles. Stringent regulations need to be defined to control whether noise and safety adhere to the national regulations.
Recycling options should be considered to address climate change. Some authority need to be developed on state level who can enforce regulations and issue infringements to the industries. fast track Environmental court need to be developed to address these.
