The digital world has become an essential part of our daily lives—whether it’s social media, online shopping, digital banking, or gaming. Along with these opportunities come new risks such as Investment Scam, Instant Loan, Part time job, Trading, Sextortion, Courier Fraud, Digital Arrest, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS).

To build a safer online community, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to join the Digital Safety Dialogue. This open discussion is a space for sharing personal experiences, safety tips, and community practices that help protect against cyber threats. By learning from each other, we can strengthen digital safety awareness and promote secure online behavior for all.

Your inputs will help create a collective pool of ideas and practices that can be used to spread awareness and guide citizens towards building a Cybercrime-free Digital Bharat.

Digitalisation is automation of processes, accelerated by AI. Any transaction process needs to be robust. Key points could be 1)Financial Services should own process for safety steps and should not leave any chance for mistake to customer. 2)Hidden approvals like one time or periodic subscription by ticks should be treated like offence 3)Grievances should be handled seriously (they are taken lightly) and online sites should provide contacts clearly. Non working contact or casual responses should be treated like legal offence 4)Aadhar card has biometric data family details like son, parents. It should be a valid successor declaration. AI can help handling nation wide info and avoid fake card generation 5)Aadhar, PAN related data, personal finance SHOULD BE CONFIDENTIAL, it’s not today. It’s accessible to . 6)Ways to generate un-accessible SIM cards should be sealed 7)All Nominees should be identified by Aadhar only. Writing only name, is open invitation to crimes.
