Development of whole country is someway or other way depended on MP's Railway infrastructure. As MP is centrally situated, all major Railway lines Go through MP and if you develop Railway in any other State then it would be region-specific or a project in a corner which has only Local interest. But project in MP will ensure quick and fast movement between EAST-WEST and NORTH-SOUTH. It will connect whole Nation.

Sell 100% Scrap and Railways will earn the profit it wants . So far India has seen only one Railway Minister ie.. Laalu Prasad who was able to Operate Railway Profitably. Railways need to inculcate all good and innovative ideas so that it can earm more without increasing any Passanger Fare. We are yet to see any PPP projects, still we are far away from 100% GAUGE CONVERSION & why do we need bullet train when we do not have ample of Resources to complete our Pending Railway Projects.

The slow pace of rail projects will also have an impact on the future projects. The materialisation of a multimodal logistic hub at Pithampur as part of Pithampur-Dhar-Mhow investment node under DMIC (Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor) project will depend to a large extent on the Indian Railways, says a study. A report prepared by the DMIC Development Corporation appointed consultant states that several proposed and ongoing rail projects have to be completed for smooth connectivity.

After reading the enclosed article, I feel railways should make On-board weighing systems mandatory in all the railway wagon loading sites. Most of the mineral cargo is loaded in to wagons by Wheel loaders or excavators through contractors. With On-Board weighing systems installed on these equipments, each wagon will be loaded as per the designed capacity of each wagon. With these railways can definitely minimize accidents and wear & tare of tracks due to carrying of overloaded wagons.

1. Improvement in infrastructure at Railway stations- more entry and exit points, escalators, lifts, baggage trolleys etc.
2. Fencing of areas around the tracks, installing CCTV cameras and connecting them with local command centre of RPF. In case of detection of violation, alert patrol team of RPF should stop & fine the person on the spot.
3. For every challan, ticket price for the violator should go up
4. National Awareness campaign
