India is among 51 countries to sign the “Rome Declaration” on “Achieving Self-sufficiency in Safe Blood and blood products based voluntary non-remunerated donation”. Blood is an intrinsic requirement for health care and proper functioning of the health system. National AIDS Control Organization under Department of Health and Family Welfare has been primarily responsible for ensuring provision of safe blood for the country since 1992. National Blood Policy 2003 reiterates firmly the government’s commitment to provide safe and adequate quantity of blood, blood components and blood products.

However, in India, a needy patient or his relatives have to run from pillar to post in search of blood and the onus of procurement of blood still lies with the patient and not with the service provider.

Suggestions are invited on how to develop a nationally coordinated and well networked blood transfusion service in the country and reach 100% voluntary blood donation to enable us to meet the global goal of self sufficiency in blood and blood products.

Dear sir, I want to draw attention towards mismanagement of railway specially on the occasion of any festival. If two special train only with sitting can be arrange for poor labour then we can avoid such a shameful situation every year. Sir , I am talking about UP an Bihar bound train. I believe you will certainly instruct rail minister to take some positive steps. In railway TTE are causing more damage by taking bribe in lower level which affect general public. Thanks & regards Rajesh

Restart the Employment Exchange for recruiting local capable young people of the state or that particular city. It will save Govt's money. Also it may reduce rhe frustration in youth of the place where other state's young candidates are getting employment in central Govt Offices through Staff Selection Commission Exam which should not be conducted for clerical ,multi tasking services, Stop the commission and save the youth as well Govt's money

I would like to focus on small but a huge change of railway station and bus stand drinking water. If govt can incorporate RO filter to these place for drinking water with minimal maintenance charge of Rs 5 to fill a 1 litre bottle will not only provide safe drinking water to every one but also reduce plastic garbage caused due to packaged water bottle which charge around Rs 15 also it create job opportunity to maintain RO filter
