Please establish a common data base of donors for all the blood banks, so that the recipients need not run around in urgency. The practice of asking for a blood replacement for issuing the required blood to recipient during emergencies is bad as the patient's kin will be tense. Strengthen audit procedures on the blood banks, like putting a duty doctor, auditor etc.,
