The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) sent a reference dated 22nd August 2019, seeking recommendations of TRAI on reserve prices for 283 cities (260 new + 23 existing), under FM Phase-III Policy.

Accordingly, this Consultation Paper has been prepared to seek the comments/views of the stakeholders on the issues related to estimation of the reserve prices for auction of FM Radio channels.

As part of the consultative process, the Consultation Paper has been uploaded on the TRAI website. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 6th November 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 13th November 2019.

Communication through radio is good but it will be better if we can provide solar or manual charging radio to all specially in the village. Current or battery system radio is not good for environment so we must introduce manual charging radio in a small size in every village.

Pranams sir. In auction of FM, preference should be given to unemployed educated youths with innovative techniques. Eligibility criteria should not include political related groups. Our great PM Modiji have been taken lot of development measures for our country by sacrificing his life. By this auction, everyone should know about Modiji's care about entrepreneurs. निजीकरण करने से एक फायदा यह है कि किसी भी योजना को निजीकरण से पर्याप्त पैसा उस कंपनी के विस्तारीकरण के लिए मिल जाता है और कंपनी का विस्तार भी हो जाता है इसका नुकसान केवल इतना है कि इससे company मालिक को मनमानी का अधिकार मिल जाता है वह कंपनी में वहीं कार्य करते है जिससे कंपनी को फायदा हो उन्हें सामाजिक रूप से पिछड़ों की चिंता नहीं होती है जो लोग वंचित होते है वह उन योजनाओं से बाहर हो जाते है क्योंकि company एक मात्र उद्देश्य यह रखती है जिसमें उसे फायदा हो वही कार्य वह करेगी अत इस बात का भी ध्यान
