FM radios are getting dissappeared now a days it is mainly due to the raise in modern communication technologies present... we can get evey news and events information in o ur finger tips. sometimes the frequency merging issues also present in fm radios.and why we need fm radio if the modern technologies can give more information comparing with FM radio but the good thing is we can get instant updates in fm radios..

It's nice step to auction the FM radio , but the main issue will arise of its monitoring , since all we know our beurocratic system are still 50% corrupt , and FM Radio and channel has miraculous capacity and merit to influence not only urban society but it can penetrate deep into last man in rural society too. so it's big responsibility to control its quality / matter and topics of content of broadcasting. FM radio would be best communicator of government policy to entire villages of India.
