The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

First of all modify mtp act .it should be done for only structural anomaly and rape victims only.it should be allowed only in govt hospitals and not in private hospitals.put active trader in each sonography clinic under Pndt act. And any abortion or delivery below 28weeks of pregnancy should be done after permission of cdho and in case of emergency should be informed with all case papers .failure of contraception must not be the indication of mtp.

Sir, thank you for raising the issue of female foetecide at your Jayapur rally to-day. As a lady and a daughter of an extremely courageous mother, I find this discrimination against the unborn girl as the most heinous of all the discriminatory practises, after all one half of society is not even allowed to be born, a practise that cuts across all divides. In this regard please reconsider the changes to the MTP act, prone to be misused. Please continue to raise this issue at the national level.

yes! There have been abortions in order to kill girl child. But did we think of reasons? 1. Dowry 2. Male dominance in society 3.considering boy is heir to the family. dowry is illegal but did it really been kept in practice. My country has biggest constitution but when its n0t kept in practice, whats great about it?

Sir, It would be better if the government introduce karate in primary schools so that the girl can protect herself. At least she will get the courage to face the problem.

The Primary Aim to Save the girl for all type of crimes and hereby the idea is about to set up a camp at every kilometer's range in remote places specially where at least 3 to 4 cops reside all time so that they can rescue girls of all ages at all times when necessary.
