Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto ...
The thing which attracts people towards rural areas is outstanding techniques of living in villages, open space and their regional culture practiced in villages and of course natural beauty. We should try to motivate all these things.Secondly, connectivity is a major problem, during harsh weather conditions it becomes even more difficult to reach some villages in India. We shall make our village modern but we should check that it does not crushes our traditional culture.
Better not to develop any tourism in rural India, it requires a lot of infrastructure and CCTV cameras etc. Many times local people will have community clashes, and they set all boundaries. Even after you develop tourism, and infrastructure local government officials will always close them. For example in railway department, they always close ladies' toilets and ladies waiting halls.
Promote culture of rural areas as in organic way of living, pristine environment and then leverage rural tourism. Also, create eco-friendly infrastructure and emergency needs for tourists.Create a connect between the rural and urban people, only then can rural India's tourism really be leveraged.
1.Built comfortable cottages at a reasonable price for a weekend spot.
2.Infrastructure support to reach the spot.
3.Health resort-like yoggram .
4.local dishes for variety.
Integrate SHGs and 100days employmentscheme, train rural people as guides, for the localtemples and monuments, give training to cater homemade food to tourists, find volunteers to maintain cleanliness, add parks and make network, medical facility and essentials available....provide pakka infrastructure...create model Self help tourism village...thus we can attract people for medical tourism or based on the speciality of each and every village with the much needed publicity...

Honourable Prime Minister Modiji, Sir, chota muh badee baat. Sir, I want to say about Rural areas. People are cutting trees and making those beautiful into concrete jungle. Tourism grow when those beautiful sceneries be as it is. Foreigners coming to india to see the greenery. They like to spend to visit most beautiful places formed by natural way. So we have to preserve our green treasury. India is more recognized by Modiji,.Your efforts are highly dedicated to the whole country.
Tourism can only develop in our RURAL INDIA if our villages get the proper touch of govt. assistance to improve infrastructure. Our govt. has done its best but still some observence is required in the following cases:
1. Fresh water is provided to every villages but THE PIPES ARE NOT HAVING TAPS IN THEIR MOUTHS. WATER FLOWS CONTINOUSLY LEADING TO WASTAGE.
2.Proper SCHOOL SYSTEM HAS TO BE DEVELOPED where education should reach the ground level DELETING ALL SUPERSTITIONS FROM VILLAGERS' MIND.
Weekend getaways are the most sought after holidays for urban dwellers. As most of the officer observe 5 day week the employees look for spending weekends with their families somewhere away from home but not too far away from the city. So we can develop a few homes in villages about 100 km away from large cities.Prepare these homes with natural village ingredients.Make living for a couple of days comfortable for tourists.Encourage corporates to offer their employees weekend holiday as incentives
Most important task for attracting tourism at the RURAL LEVEL are :-1) Connectivity 2) Infrastructure,in terms of electricity, water and proper disposal of garbage/waste created 3) Follow the mantra of REFUSE REDUCE REUSE AND RECYCLE of all amenities .
Hey there!
Villages are the heart of India, No doubt. But think that why tourism in Indian villages is not too grown to say that there is no need of improvement now. So, to achieve this government should :-
1. Invest money on advertising to display the beauty of villages which creates enthusiasm in the visitors.
2. Improve electrical and transportation conditions of villages.
3. Hire local contractors to take care of the visitors.
4. Take this business online and promote it on social media.
