The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Respected PM Mr. Modi , I am sharing my thought: Tdy in India our focus should be increasing the income for poor peoples as they play a major role. And i noticed in urban cities we always find a problem to find Plumber, carpenter. electrician etc. as their is very big shortage of these type of persons. So an association can be formed who can educate poor from villages in this field and can make one window for giving services to peoples. This can automatic create a big job network for poors. .

Just by saying no one achieved, but by doing it one achieves a huge change. Different people don't do any different work they do every work differently. Skill development is an important skill in today's changing world and skill is also the demand of today so as a student when I look beggars around me I see a particular skill in them that is their convincing skill if this skill of them is provided support and improved can provide them employment somewhere, In this way there can be a huge change tomorrow!!
