The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

#StartupSupport - Why Government and Govt lead bank are not providing Working Capital Finance to Young Entrepreneur even with Security. For working capital finance every bank demands atleast 3 years old business. At initial stage every startup need of small finance to gearup their idea into some visible thing. Conclusion: Govt. should also focus short term finance (Working Capital) instead of only term loan to young entrepreneurs else only big cats can enjoy such schemes.

Indian Road Conditions. Sir Road Conditions are very poor not only in remote are but in Delhi Itself. most of the main road are badly damaged and no body takes the responsibility. people lost their lives due to bad roads. people spend extra money to maintain vehicles due to this. I think Government should impose condition for maintaining road condition for a specific period for the contractor who builds the road. if any department dig the road contractor will see whether it is repaired or not.

Skills are best developed by giving classroom training followed immediately by practice. This practice part is costly and most trainers are afraid of getting equipment damaged. However, only use of equipment will develop skills. Hence trainers should be freed from their fears and corporates should be encouraged to donate materials for training by giving accelarated depreciation rates. I am proposing this since somehow Government is very harsh on trainers for damaged equipment!!
