The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Dear Prime Minister I want to discuss with you that can't we have 2 holidays in a year i.e. 1. Republic Day and 2. Independence Day, and other government offices like bijli board etc. can have on Sundays and Monday because if anybody wants to pay any bill he/she can pay the bill at weekend. So everybody will have two consecutive holidays and will do there work efficiently.

skill devlopment is cobination of class room study as well as practical training because without educational background practical training have a very limited impact on devlopment because they could not convinced what is correct and why so they dont want to change.

The class rooms sessions are more of theory and given by the teachers who are not connected to the ground or dont have relevant practical experience.we need to mix and match both theory by teachers but practical to be taken by the people who are actually working on the shopfloor.
