On 16th Septeber 2015, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly Vanamadi Kondababu, Member of Parliament Sri. Thota Narasimham addressed the Citizens of Kakinada about its selection in 100 Smart Cities and requested them to provide active participation in prepartion of Smart City Proposal.

Municipal Corporation Jhansi and sponsored Punjab National Bank Jhansi has been successfully organize the Smart City Essay Competition Subject “Aaiye Hum Sab Milkar Veerangana Laxmi Bai ki Nagri Jhansi ko Smart City Banaye”on October 20, 2015 in Deendayal Sabhagar Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh).

On the 12th of October 2015, Hon. Mayor Mr. Alok Sharma led a citizen consultation at Noor-Us-Sabah Palace Hotel with the Chamber of Commerce and other industrial associations with a view of inviting suggestions from the business class of Bhopal.
