This NHAI Mascot Design celebrates the seamless integration of India's cultural heritage with world-class highway infrastructure. Inspired by my identity, the mascot serves as a friendly ambassador for safe, smart, and sustainable transportation. Dressed in a traditional Madhya Pradesh Safa and attire featuring Gond tribal art, the mascot proudly holds an NH 47 milestone inscribed with "Surakshit Yatra, Samriddh Bharat" alongside a FASTag device, symbolizing digital mobility. The backdrop features a modern national highway passing through the scenic Satpura Hills, with landmarks of Chhindwara, including the Shri Badal Bhoi Tribal Museum, emphasizing regional identity and tourism. Highway signage highlights local destinations, while the visual reinforces NHAI's core vision of Better Roads, Safer Journeys, Greener Future, Speed & Progress, and Prosperous India. The design reflects a future-ready India where infrastructure, technology, sustainability, and cultural pride move forward tgthr

"Please forgive me, sir." I doubted good people like you. After that day, Lencho resumed his hard work. The following year, thanks to God's grace and his own efforts, the harvest was excellent. Now, on the first of every month, Lencho would visit the post office to thank the postmaster. He would tell everyone, "God comes in the form of a human being." Moral: True faith and humanity are the greatest strengths in the world.

"Vanraj" (King of the Forest) is a humanoid elephant mascot symbolizing NHAI's mission of building world-class highways while protecting India's natural heritage — echoing NHAI's real wildlife overpasses that let animals cross safely above busy roads. His yellow helmet represents nation-building and safety; his orange vest reflects road-safety standards; the diagonal highway sash across his chest represents roads connecting every corner of India. The background shows an Elephant Overpass — a green wildlife bridge built above a multi-lane highway, with crash barriers and marked dimensions, letting elephant herds cross safely while traffic flows below. It proves development and conservation can coexist. With his warm smile and thumbs-up, Vanraj welcomes citizens as a trustworthy guide — embodying safety, sustainability, and progress, reflecting NHAI's mission: "Building Highways, Connecting India, Empowering Nation."

Respected Team, I am submitting two distinct hand-drawn mascot poster concepts for the NHAI design task. Both mascots are thoughtfully created to represent NHAI's core values: safety, technological advancement, and seamless connectivity across India. 1. Concept 1: 'Marg-Darshak' (The Elephant) Theme: The Highway Guardian Symbolism: The elephant embodies immense strength, reliability, and wisdom. 'Marg-Darshak' represents NHAI's commitment to building durable infrastructure and ensuring the utmost safety of every traveler on Indian highways.

Title: NH-MITRA – The Guardian of India's Highways "सुरक्षित सड़कें, समृद्ध भारत" and "हर सफर सुरक्षित, हर मंज़िल सुनिश्चित" are the guiding ideas behind NH-MITRA, a friendly, trustworthy, and energetic mascot representing the vision of NHAI. Inspired by the agility and alertness of India's wildlife, NH-MITRA symbolizes road safety, seamless connectivity, innovation, sustainability, and nation-building. The reflective safety jacket and helmet demonstrate responsibility, while the cheerful smile builds trust and awareness among citizens of all age groups. The highway-inspired design elements reflect India's rapidly expanding road infrastructure, connecting people, opportunities, and dreams. The mascot is designed to work effectively across websites, mobile applications, social media, print media, public campaigns, merchandise, and official documents, while remaining equally recognizable in both colour and monochrome formats. Thank you 🙏🏻
